Installing the Wing Shopify App
This guide walks you through installing and connecting the Wing Shopify app to your store.
Prerequisites
- Admin access to your Shopify store
- An active Wing account with valid credentials
- At least one shipping location configured in Shopify
Step 1: Install the App from Shopify App Store
From the Shopify Admin
- Open your Shopify admin dashboard
- Go to Apps and sales channels > App and sales channels
- Click Add app or sales channel
- Search for "Wing" in the Shopify App Store
- Click on the Wing app
- Review the requested permissions
- Click Install app to confirm

Step 2: Connect Your Wing Account
Once the app is installed, you'll be redirected to the Wing configuration page.
- In the Wing app, locate the configuration section
- Enter your Wing account email and password
- Click Synchronize
- Wait for the connection to complete
Connection Success
You should see a success confirmation message confirming that your Wing account is connected to your Shopify store.
Step 3: Configure Your Admin Access
Ensure you have the necessary admin permissions to:
- Access app integrations in Shopify
- Manage shipping settings
- Configure checkout extensions (for relay point features)
What's Next?
Once the app is installed and your Wing account is connected:
- Configure carrier mapping - Set up how your Shopify shipping methods correspond to Wing carriers
- Configure order synchronization - Verify order synchronization is working correctly
- Enable relay point selection (optional) - Allow customers to pick up orders from relay points

Troubleshooting
Connection Failed
- Verify your Wing account email and password are correct
- Ensure your Wing account is active
- Check that you have admin permissions in both Shopify and Wing
App Not Appearing
- Clear your browser cache and reload
- Try installing from the direct App Store link: https://apps.shopify.com/wing
- Contact support@wing.eu if the issue persists
